Lillian Polatchek '08
Nursing Student at Drexel; Former Armor Officer in United States Marine Corps
Lillian Polatchek '08 became the first female Tank Armor Officer in the history of the United States Marine Crops in 2017. After graduating from Connecticut College, she actively sought a career in service that would help her fulfill a higher purpose. As a First Lieutenant, Lily commanded a twenty-two person Marine Corps tank platoon that deployed with the 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit aboard the USS Kearsarge. Currently studying nursing at Drexel University, Lily credits her leadership experiences at Marymount for developing her ability to work with and serve others.
