Alicia Guevara '90
CEO of Big Brothers Big Sisters New York
After getting her degree at Columbia University, Alicia Guevara '90 decided to pursue a career in non-profits that would make a lasting impact on her community. She has rooted her life's work in the pursuit of social justice issues of access and inclusion for young people. Now as CEO of Big Brothers Big Sisters of New York City, Alicia leads the largest youth mentorship program in the city. Her impact has been recognized on the New York City & State Power of Diversity Latino 100 List; on Crain’s Notable Black Leaders & Executives List and Crain’s Notable Hispanic Leaders List; and by Columbia University as a 2023 recipient of the prestigious John Jay Award.
