Yearbook editors and staff create, design, write, photograph, and produce the yearbook, learning the complete desktop publishing process from concept to electronic submission, using inDesign and Photoshop. Staff meetings are Thursdays from 3:30 to 4:30, with one or two Saturday and/or evening work sessions each semester, as needed. Marifia is a demanding club which offers a highly rewarding collaborative experience. New staff members are welcome: space is limited to four to six staff members per grade in Classes IX-XII. Class VIII normally has two representatives who produce the Class VIII yearbook page in the second semester and who are encouraged to become staff members for the remainder of the year.
