In the study of world languages, emphasis is placed on communication, both oral and written. Students learn to express ideas effectively through practice and correction, and they come to understand the arts, politics, and literature of another culture. At all levels, language and culture are taught simultaneously. All French and Spanish classes are conducted exclusively in the target language.
