Classes IV-VII
Students are expected to understand and observe the spirit as well as the letter of the dress requirements. All clothing must be neat and clean. Oversized or tight clothing is not appropriate. Hemlines are not to be more than 3 inches above the middle of the knee (front and back). Blouses and shirts should be tucked in at all times. For safety, rubber soled, low-heeled shoes are required. Middle School students may wear sneakers and navy or gray Marymount sweatshirts to and from school but must change to uniform shoes and shirts/sweaters immediately upon arrival at school. Navy Marymount sweatpants may be worn under the uniform skirt to and from school. On the occasions when uniforms are not required, the School provides specific guidelines.
Students are to be well-groomed at all times. Natural-colored hair is expected, and tattoos and piercing (other than ears) are not permitted. The use of makeup in the Middle School is not permitted. If nail polish is worn, it must be colorless or of a very pale pink. In the Middle School, one watch, one rubber fundraising bracelet, and one ring may be worn. For earrings, students may wear one pair of simple studs no bigger than a dime. All jewelry except pierced-ear studs must be removed and hair must be secured away from the face for P.E. classes. Sneakers are to be worn only for P.E. classes. Students are to change immediately before and after P.E. classes.
Fall/Spring (September through October and after Spring vacation):
Blue cord skirt: hemline no more than 3 inches above the knee
White, tailored, short-sleeved blouse
White, short-sleeved polo shirt
Navy blue crew-neck or cardigan sweater
Navy blue or white knee or ankle socks above ankle, long enough to cuff
Optional:
Navy blue blazer
White tights
White crew-neck or cardigan sweater
Navy blue bike shorts may be worn under uniform skirt
Winter (November until Spring vacation):
Uniform Plaid Skirt: hemline no more than 3 inches above the knee
White, long-sleeved, tailored blouse
White, cotton turtleneck
Navy blue crew-neck or cardigan sweater
Navy blue knee socks or tights
Optional:
Navy blue blazer
White crew-neck or cardigan sweater

Shoes:
Only navy, black, or brown oxfords, loafers, or docksiders may be worn. Heels may be no more than 1 1/2 inches high, as measured from the ground.
