NAIS Honors Marymount for Exemplary Teaching and Learning with Technology

The National Association of Independent Schools recently named Marymount’s evolving, up-to-date program a “role model to inspire other schools and teachers,” praising Marymount for its ongoing “commitment to student-centered learning, diversity and inclusiveness, the development of creative thinkers and a stated commitment to using technology to achieve their goals in preparing students for life beyond school.” Marymount, which is continuing to strengthen its STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) offerings with new internship programs and 21st-century learning opportunities, is the only New York independent school to be honored in NAIS’s new booklet, Stories of Excellence.
