Classes IV-VIII Athletics
Class IV: After-School Sports
Intramural sports is an after-school sports program allowing Class IV students, interested in advancing their skills in seasonal team sports, additional practice and playing time beyond the physical education team sports classes.
Seasonal team sports include:
Fall-soccer and volleyball
Winter-swimming and basketball, non-competitive running club
Spring-softball and track & field
Classes V and VI: After-School Sports
Students meet twice per week after school to participate and compete in seasonal team sports. Scrimmages and games are held with neighborhood and AAIS (Athletic Association of Independent Schools) league and member schools.

Winter-swimming and basketball, non-competitive running club
Spring-softball and track & field
Classes VII and VIII: After-School Sports
Classes VII and VIII practice, play, and compete in all major sports represented by the AAIS (Athletic Association of Independent Schools) League. Each season culminates in an invitational tournament, hosted by a member AAIS school.

Spring-softball and track & field
Class VII and VIII students may try out for certain varsity sports after successfully completing the New York State selection/classification test. Please contact Monika Anderson, Director of Athletics, for further details.
