For the 2011-2012 year, Marymount School of New York has elected to focus on Goal 4 of the Goals and Criteria for the RSHM Schools: To encourage and affirm personal growth.
In this year of expansion to our 97th Street Campus, the goal to inspire one another to be more reflective and to strive to grow physically, emotionally, intellectually, socially, morally and spiritually is congruent with the growth of our program. To that end, we are dedicated to conducting relationships according to the principles of honesty, compassion, truthfulness, and mutual respect while encouraging appropriate actions and effective participation in the community.
We hope that the entire Marymount family, through embracing this year’s goal, will cultivate growth in self-knowledge and self-esteem that will continue to strengthen and unify the school community as a whole.
